Paypal F&F fees
 

What are the current pp f&f fees for international payments? I recently made a small international payment of $12 and the fees on top of it came out at $2.25 which is ridiculous. As far as I remember, they used to be around 10% which is still very high but these new fees are insane.

you casn find it on Paypal,is there currency conversion?

did you use a credit card?
where is the recipient?

you are in UK,you sent US $,DO you have US$ IN YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT?

The fee breakdown is hidden. When I set up the currency to USD on both sides, I could only enter one amount. The recipient receives/you send option disappeared. I added 12 and the fee showed up as $2.25.

Stop using F&F, you'll get in trouble eventually

I sent $12 Gbp and payable charged $1 00

That's a crazy fee - even with the fee involved, repeated sending F&F amounts can affect the health of your pp account

Paypal lists all the fees,before you send or receive payment,make a copy of its fee schedule.
It varies by country,and currency and what method of payment-card/bank/paypal balance,so it is not HIDDEN.
Is it expensive,compared to Western Union,it is cheapn or bank wiretransfer
