i get a phone call from a 402 area code. now i dont know anyone who would call me from that number other than paypal, i just started a new account...i only sold 5 items in one week and have only 459dollars.... and its like paypal is calling to verify if my phone number is legit???

I did a search on Google for the number. There's a lot of websites talking about it. Looks like junk.

Anyone that gets a call from a questionable number can run it through whocalled.us which is the most useful site I've found for checking this type of thing out.

Enjoy

PS: I ran it back to this site: REGALO - A Gift Experience

Which claims to be down for maintenance. It's a false front to harvest data for mailing lists and to sell your info to spam lists. By answering your phone, they now know the number exists and isn't dead or disconnected. In about a week, you will probably get flooded with car warranties, life insurance for your pet goldfish, poly-alloy shoelaces, remanufactured dilithium crystals, and enzyte.

^^^Did you try it the other day when you had the 905 incoming call? :ranger:

You are just paranoid. Plain and simple.
To break it down Telemarketers (workers) get a list of numbers that is given to them that they have to call. Some are just lazy and don't feel like talking and just dial the number and wait 10 to 15 seconds and then hang up. The company have phone logs/records to make sure they do their jobs and this is how they get around it. Sometimes they stay on the phone and wait for you to say "HELLO" like 5 or 6 times and then they will respond base on the fact that you stayed on the phone for that long and didn't hang up. This is a sign that you are the type of person that will listen to the FULL sales pitch they have to give.

This info is from my experience as a customer. I usually stay on and let them pitch their sales script all they want and then say "NO THANKS" and Hang up.:D

Paypal and Ebay doesn't do that. They will leave a message if you don't answer the phone.
