Multiple Business PayPal Accounts Per Ecommerce Store
 

Firstly, i apologize if this topic has been covered as I tried searching all over and couldn't find a definite answer.

I'm an owner of multiple Shopify stores and have always connected all of them with my single business paypal account to accept payments.

However, I've launched a new store to which I want to attach a separate business paypal account so that the business name actually matches with their receipts.

Just want to know if this is ok to do just as long as I'm using a different bank account, email and phone number? The business address and EIN would obviously be the same though.

If there is no chargebacks on your main account. You can do that. Otherwise change your IP

we can have 6 email addresses per one Paypal account,but the fund is not segregated by email addr,you see one balance

My main account has been in great standing for 2+ years now. But we do get disputes every now and then but win 95% of them. So hope it’ll be good.

Yeah i’m aware of that when it comes to one paypal account. It’s just that i’d rather have a completely separate account to track the payments better, and for the email confirmation to show a different business name vs our holding company name (that i have on the main account).

As you can do so, please note that the owner of the business account must be someone else.


when paypal places a temporary restriction on your account, they will ask you for an SSN.

What you need to do is provide the same SSN as the owner of the account.

Think you're the owner of both business accounts?

I have come across a situation like you and both my accounts are permanently restricted and i am trying to recover them
