“Confirm your taxpayer status” email from bulgarian paypal
 

i have bulgarian paypal and today i received this email when i receive payment
What should i do ?

First off - no need for a double post.
As for your issue - are you SURE this is a Bulgarian paypal? cause it sounds like theyre asking you for a piece of info that they would only request on a US based account. Is there any other info you can share with regards to this situation?
If you shared everything it sounds like you might need to contact them about it to get more info.

İ created paypal with from bulgaria with bulgarian ip and phone number, also adress from bulgaria around 4 months ago. İ receives money from people they live in usa, can it be realted to this ?

I doubt it but no way for me to know.
I suggest you call them and ask them about it.

Same happened to me. Bulgarian IP and all of other data. Received the same message 8 hours before they permanently limited my account.

Can't write DMs. There was a field that I marked that I'm not US citizen and few hours afther that I've got the suspension. If I knew I would withdraw the money at least.

Did they ask you for id document or driver license something like that also ?

No they didn't and this is the question I'm asking myself every day. One more thing came to my mind today but not sure if this might be possible reason.
As they ask to confirm this US citizen status which I don't have but use to live 3 years in US and have SSN I was thinking could this be some kind of dissmatch in the information I provided. Saying that I'm not US citizen but under my name it's showing existing SSN?
