What happens if Paypal withdrawals to a mismatch name?
 

I had paypal try to withdrawal from my bank account and its a mismatch name. I had forgotten about this account. My bank rejected the request because I did not have enough in it...

Is the account any good? I dont know if I should keep selling?

How much did you try to send from the bank account to pp?

PP account is not limited right?

Move to another bank account with matched name or use a bank account that allow you to receive payment from a mismatch name (PO, for example)

your bank rejected because you didn't have enough funds in the account or because name was not matching?
Regarding matching: it really depends on the bank.

you dont have enough in your bank account,of course it will reject any withdrawal,unless you have overdraft protection with your bank.

No my question is, is my paypal account safe to use after this?

I forgot about this account and eBay used paypal for fees, the fees were higher then what was in my paypal account so paypal tried to get it from my linked account, which was $0 and it failed.

this bank does not care about mismatch names because i have withdrawn to it many many times so im good in that sense. Its just paypal im worried about.

if you were able to add your bank account, there will be no problem when you withdraw

You should change the title of this thread it's not the right topic and it's confusing.

But to answer your question, your PP is still fine but if the bank rejects it PP will take that bank account out eventually and if they do that your account may get flagged in the background when you try adding another bank account.

So while the account is still there, PUT money into your bank account asap.
