Benefits of a business account in 2020?
 

I've been using the Stealth Guide since around 2014, and all my accounts are personal and I've just been spreading things out to stay under the 20k/200items thresh hold... and in that time just adjusted not to be able to spend from my balance and a few other changes that happened over that time.

Now as I come back on here and read about business accounts which seem to be quite popular now, are people using them just to satisfy additional requests from PP, or are there benefits to them like being able to spend from a business account balance?

I'm happy to acquire a new address, and set up a proper LLC or whatever, but if I did that, would the EIN combined with the business info serve as a verify-able set of info where PP would allow me to spend from my balance? Or are people just getting business accounts because of requests for info from PP or because they are going over the 20k/200 item limits?

People are adding EIN's solely to get past the 200/$20,000 threshold. USA Business Paypal accounts cannot spend their balances without also adding a valid SSN and personal info.

Then I'll just keep an eye on things so my average for the year is under the 20/200 and will keep on as I have been. Thanks again!
