Stealth account mistake...
 

So, When i first started doing stealth accounts i was using names of family friends and using families numbers etc.

When i realised this was bad i stopped using that account.

Now almost a couple of months later the account had -140usd on it and the family member got like a collection but she refused and went to the police and the police went to like contact paypal....

My question is, am i in trouble? I used VPN but i know that i have logged into the paypal with my normal IP after i stopped using it to sell...

its a big mistake i know, but is there somehow they can track me down?

Pay off the debt first foremost. How you decide to make it up to the family member eventually is a thing I should like to leave for your conscience to decide.

For $140 you get peace of mind, but i doubt paypal tells the police much of anything without a subpoena.

1. Pay the amount you owe.

2. Why would your family member go to the police over a collection letter...kind of odd - did she think there was fraud going on?

So my issue here is this was like months ago... the account is already suspended and ive paid some debts with the money i got.... i only started this stealth account thingy cuz my job had to let us go cuz of corona... i cant pay that off atm....

So the family member does not know i was the one who used the info.... so yea she thinks its a fraud going on and im the one who told her to like go to the cops...

Okay, so you used your family member's ID without permission, did something to get you in trouble with the account, owe them money then you lied to her and told her to go to the police letting her think it's fraud.

This is just unacceptable and irresponsible.
Family or not how can you do that to someone else??

Get your affairs together, do the right thing.
Tell her it's you, apologize , make effort to right your wrong , figure out a way to pay PP back.
