Log in to my account from outside my home/country
 

Hi, next year I want to travel a bit if the virus situation calms down.
My only problem is that I need to log in to my PayPal account every day to make transactions, but if I am from Italy and I am going let's say to Asia, when I will try to log in I am sure I will have some problems...
What's a solution to that? There is a way to log in to my home network even if I am in another country? Or how can I log in with a static italian IP? I don't trust VPN's, is very easy to detect them, I need a better solution, any help?

if you have 2 computers its simple.
Leave your main PC on at home and install 'anydesk' on it.
Take your laptop with you on the road and login to your home PC from anywhere in the world via anydesk. That's it. Youll be able to control your home computer (with its own IP and all) as if yo were you were at home.

I would still use a VPN from your own country but login for a week or so before you leave Italy.

This is what I do when I first had my VPN.
It's honestly the most reliable way.

I used to connect to my computer at home until the wifi died or the computer reset itself etc etc etc... plus the connection is laggy so yea... no thank you to remote control

Actually Ive done this with anydesk with all the traveling and vacations Ive taken over the last 6-7 years now. The connection is usually buttersmooth with almost no lag whatsoever.
I would NOT take chances with a VPN if you use your own home static IP.

Is like timeviewer right? The only problem is that due to the time zone it will be hard every time to call someone at home to start the pc and tell them every time to charge it etc

Teamviewer and logmein works but yes, you need that other computer always on...cant ask the person to always leave it on?

Is a laptop not desktop, I don't want to leave it on for months

Like I said, use a residential IP on it while you're in Italy still so you have history on it.
If you're gone for a few months then I'd definitely stick to VPN or Residential IP.

It's your decision at this point.

Or you could just call them and explain the situation. However I would still expect for you to be hit with a restriction when you log in from the other side of the world, so just make sure you are prepared to deal with it:

Make sure you have all of the documents that they may request from you for when you get hit with a restriction.

Set up the two factor verification with your mobile number and make sure you take it with you.

I tried team viewer from china to the uk and to be honest it was so slow that I had to give up on it, I could get no work done because of the extreme lag.

Why lag man? Due to your connection speed in China?
