Is VCC necessary for PayPal AU?
 

I'm making my stealth PayPal account and going through the process of confirming and verifying it.

I've already got a bank account that I've confirmed, but is a VCC required? A gift card store I tried buying from kept rejecting my orders due to me failing some "security check", whatever that is, and the marketplace sellers are unresponsive or don't have Australian VCCs.

Are VCCs really required for PayPal AU if I already have a bank account?

You'll need a bank acc to confirm and a VCC to verify.

These 2 things will make the account stronger and it's advised to do so before attaching it to eBay
