Bank not linking with paypal
 

When trying to link my bank account through the transit, branch, and account number I was entering the wrong numbers multiple times until I noticed I had one of the numbers for my account number wrong. Multiple times I got an error message stating, sorry we can't link your bank account right now.

I contacted paypal and they told me I triggered the security system and have to wait 48 hours until the security system is refreshed. Anyone else experience something like this?

Seen things like that happen to others in the past.
Just give it the time and try again.

TD Canada Trust, I opened a new savings account with them like usual but since I was entering the wrong number and submitting it multiple times I flagged the security system. I'll give an update if it works after 48 hours.

Hello, did you contact through phone or the messaging center? I am getting the can't link bank account msg also and still won't go away after 48 hours. Keep us updated n good luck!

I waited 48 hours and tried again but didn't work so I contacted paypal again and had to confirm a verification code the PayPal agent sent through my number. After confirmation I was able to link my bank, now just have wait for the deposits in order to verify the bank account. This was caused because I flagged the security system after multiple failed attempts in entering the correct bank account number.

did you have to call them? or message support?

this is good sign and you will be able to link the account after the 2-deposits well done

They called me but I wasn't able to answer the phone at the time so I got it done through live chat.

They just send a confirmation code to your phone and you have to tell them, after that I was able to link my bank
