Is it important to create a PP acc. first before creating an ebay acc?
 

Ive bought the Stealth book and read to create the pp. acc. before you create the ebay acc. and was just wondering why this is important? I was thinking you'de want to create an ebay acc first to let it age.

No, its better to already have PayPal before opening Ebay, but not really necessary. Less problems with both, Ebay and PayPal..less limitations, more flexibility.

Different people have different opinions and reasons for having the different opinions.

I look at it like this: A n00b (logic sez) wouldn't know about PP unless they found ebay first, so doing PP before ebay oughtta look strange.

I make the ebay first, then roam around just for show, then wander over to PP after an hour or so and make the PP. Then I pretend to read all the things that makes PP horny. Then I wander back to ebay and put stuff in the watch list and go away. I come back after a few days, do the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ shopping routine then go over to PP for adding the bank and card crapola. Couple days I leave it alone, then go back to confirm deposits and maybe expuse number. Once it's all set, I immediately go buy something priced between 10 and 15 bucks. Then stash the whole set for at least a month.

Ya this is great thinking i read something in ebay stealth pretty close to that but in book says do the pp acc. first so i guess eathier way will work as long as i look like a newb. to both. Right:thumb:

Advantage of paypal first is that you are 'there'....less hassles for those that 'jump' straight into selling. I usually use paypal for a couple of transactions, then find ebay :ranger:

I know that quite a few people do it the way Lyda and Greenbean do it. Not to hijack the thread, but more for encouraging clarity...

Why is it that you two choose to do the PP first? I can't get my head around that. I've been meaning to ask somebody to explain it to me for a while, but I keep forgetting.

^^^December some years back, paypal were sending out codes to complete verification. There was a backlog their end. I could not sell an item because I mistakenly thought I had to be fully verified. Ergo, I always do paypal first. To confirm its sense (imo) I have had different paypal staff tell me 'I notice you had your paypal account going for sometime' & that's been helpful.

Streamlines the whole package for me. I manipulate them & not the reverse :cheer:
