Looking for case help
 

I'm an ebay seller, sold an item to a customer. After 3 weeks he says item doesn't work, then he closes return request. Now he charged back with bank and paypal is holding my money.



I looked online and the chances of me winning are slim. Curious to see if anyone has ability or skills or something to win this case?

Impossible to win legally. They should be forced to send the item back depending on what credit card they paid with.

Unfortunately you won't win, paypal will never go against banks, that money is gone. He will get his money back but what you can do after that is up to you, you can go the legal route but even then your chances are slim. Don't bother paying anyone, they're just going to scam you, you will not be winning this case. However, they are supposed to send the item back. What you can try to do is give them a prepaid label so they send the item back and it's tracked. Make a video of you openingn it incase they send back rubbish.

Ok, so since he filed a chargeback with his bank, his PP account is practically toast.

If you have used SIGNATURE confirmation when you mailed the product, you should be under PP's protection and they'll cover you

LIke I said, he closed the first case then he used his bank to file a charge back right...

paypal hates this. so fingers crossed they'll be on your side.

There is no seller protection for INAD,whether he filed chargeback with his cc issuer or Paypal or Ebay.
If his cc issuer is fair,he would be asked to return the item,but you dont know what he told his cc issuer,if he said you refused to let him return the item,then you dont get your item back.
refusal to accept return means you dont want your item back.
dont send him a return shipping label,it is too late now.
