Best way to receive $3000?
 

Hi,

I have a verified 3 year old account, my average transaction is $150, what is the best way to receive a $3K sum from one person?

Would it be safe if I just tell them to transfer $200 per day across 15 days? would that be safe or is there a better method? Unfortunately he doesn't do wire transfer.

That's a decent idea - your average transaction is $150 per day? I am just wondering if PP might cause you an issue for projected sales rate...

Do 150 every 3-5 days never go above the 200$ mark. Once your 2-3 months where it’s a repeated pattern I would up it 150$-200$ ever 2-3 days for a month or two. The every day withdraws that how I go about it

Is it a stealth or your real account? I don't see any problem with reviving a payment of $3000 at once if it's your real one that you can easily provide docs to if needed. I've received $6000+ payment on stealth and was fine.

It's a real account, it's a 3 year old account, my identity was also verified 3 years ago but has only been active in transactions the past 30 days, has received around $1500 all-time, with average daily transaction of $150

all of the above are good advice, however, let me add 1 more thing to consider. A lot depends on the "quality" of the funds being sent. ie the quality of the account sending the money and the source. as long as the funds are clean and the sending account has good age the above methods of transfer should be fine.

How will the funds be sent - as a product ? friends and family ?

Would you guys also recommend other alternative such as TransferWise? Never used it before but I heard it's got good reviews and fairly simple to use.

I'm confused why your worried about PayPal if all the information is yours. Are you worried because you've only been reciving money for 30 days? I've been fine receiving 20-40+ $150 deposits sent to my PayPal with real info and it's was less than a week old. I did have to upload my ID but that was it.

I am a major fan of TransferWise. If it works for both parties, I would stick with TransferWise rather than Paypal.

TransferWise is best so fast and lowest fees.Paypal and banks are rip off, greedy corporations.

Try Xoom. It's owned by PayPal. They can send you money using their PayPal balance or debit card. And you can choose to revive the funds by debit card, bank, or pick it up in store (walmart for example). I personally haven't tried it but I just noticed PayPal advertising it on the homepage.

I've got a new TransferWise account, you reckon I can just receive $1.5K x 2 transactions? Would that be good to go or do you have another suggestion?

If you got the option to use TransferWise, i don't see why you would use PP honestly, I'd choose TW over PP any day, way less hassle and ive never had any problems with funds being stuck/on hold.
