PP, can’t attach bank,
 

Hello all

I am unable to attach bank to pp, I have tried with four days difference couple of times but still no luck,

During these four tries, I tried three different bank acc,
Now if I try to attach these bank accounts to other pp, will it link pp acc together.

Are you needing to withdraw funds? If so you can use Xoom and send money to your bank,debit card, or some store to pick up using your PayPal balance

Think it works for most countries. I remember it giving me an option to pick which Country I was from.

Stop trying. Each time you try and force it their system will trigger a flag.

At this point I'd wait a week and just try once with the bank you wanna use.

If still a no go then you''ll have to call in and get them to add it for you.

Right on - don't force the system too hard in short time...security flag could be triggered

As long as the bank accounts were not confirmed to that paypal account you should be able to use them with future accounts with no problems.

Why can't I link a bank account to my PayPal account?

Here are some common issues you might encounter when linking a bank account:

The bank account must be a U.S. bank.
The name on the bank account must match the name on the PayPal account.
The bank account can’t be linked to more than one account at a time. Try removing the bank account from the PayPal account it’s currently linked to. There is help if you forgot your login details.
The bank account has been linked to 3 PayPal accounts (in total) in the past. A bank account cannot be linked to any more than 3 PayPal accounts over its lifetime.
The bank account is already active on a PayPal account that has a limitation or a balance below zero.

You can add a bank account to one PayPal account at a time. However, if approved, you may be able to add it to a second PayPal account. You will be informed when linking the bank to the second PayPal account if you have been approved.

We can confirm accounts from most banks and credit unions. Unfortunately, there are some banks that are not compatible with PayPal, including most online only or prepaid bank accounts.

If you notice that last paragraph, that has been added in the last 3 to 6 months. You may still be able to add this type of account but you almost always have to call in to get it accepted.

So basically you are saying until bank account is attached successfully and verified (with the code received on bank & added to PP), I can use these bank accounts for other PP.

In my case I tried attaching bank acc a, could not attach, Unsuccessful,
Tried Bank B, Unsuccessful
Tried Bank C, Unsuccessful
Tried bank D, Unsuccessful
With all tries, I gave 72 hours difference.

So I can use these these bank acc for other PP as these could not be attached and verified anyway. Simply by trying to attach, PP does not save the details in their system. Right ???

I see your flag from USA, I wonder if the same advise for UK PP, as I am from UK.

You are correct, if the accounts do not register they can be used again whichever country you are in.

To prove this, when you open another PayPal account, if the bank account has been registered before they will tell you and not allow it to be registered. If it registers it will not be associated with any other account attempt.

does this work if the paypal account isn't verified? Once money is in xoom, do they charge to transfer to a bank account?

If you call to add it, wont they ask for the name on the bank account? and it will be different (as in your personal name not stealth name) So what do you do?

I could not find it in the guide

Give them the stealth name.... simple.
