New PayPal funds best practice
 

Just wanted to ask what is best practice when dealing with proceeds from a fairly new account?

Does PayPals algos prefer withdrawals or purchases?

Likely PP prefers purchases because they get to take more % cut from the funds moving internally.

They also dont seem to like when a new account is drained dry in one shot...

If I bleed it dry through purchases do you think I'll get into any trouble?

Most likely you'll be fine if you use your balance to shop.

Even using your balance to shop, I find that PP likes to have some funds in it - makes it seem less like you are just "burning and churning" - my own opinion anyhow

When you use your funds to shop are you adding a second address like a mailbox ok?

i understand from the guide you shouldn't use a mailbox as primary address

im just wondering how people use multiple PP accounts for purchasing and where they get the goods delivered - multiple mailboxes? Maybe click and collect locations? then you need ID

In my opinion shopping through newly created Paypal is fine.

if the payments have cleared and free to spend,you can do whatever you want ,unless Paypal suspects it is money laundering.
In US,we have to give our Social security number before we can spend that money,does Paypal have such requirement for S Africa?
