Can paypal detect you by product name?
 

Lets say you've sold something in the past on a previous account and you sell that same thing again, and its an item that theres definitely other people selling.

Would they get you if the item name is kind of long and identical to the old one, or should you just change it up a little bit to prevent detection?

If the item is not one-of-a-kind, rare and risky, of course they can't use it as a link.

Always good as a policy in my opinion to change it up a bit to avoid manual detection

Good method? I don't sell anything so risky and I vary it up with full new write-up and different pics

Just change everything. Better be safe than sorry.
