Possible to use same checking account with several Paypal accounts?
 

Hi,

I'm quite new to this so the following may sound a bit ignorant!

I am planning on opening a new EBay account linked to a new matching Paypal
account. The accounts will have the same names and addresses.

I then want to link the Paypal account to a bank account for withdrawals but this will likely have a different name and address.

Firstly is this possible? Secondly if the Ebay account or Paypal account get suspended and I have to create new Ebay + Paypal accounts can I connect the same checking account to the new Paypal account again wthout being linked by Ebay/Paypal?

Hi, Yes it is possible re: bank name being different.... that's how most of us work when creating stealth accounts. Though it is possible a bank will reject a direct debit instruction in the wrong name....

And no you can't use the checking account again. The bank account can only be active on one paypal account at a time. And if it has been used on another suspended account you will be linked.

If you use ING as your bank you might run into issues with the names.
ING is bad about that issue.

I use BOA and have NO problems with the bank name vs. Paypal name.
