What's the current best credit/giftcard for verifying PayPal (US stealth acct)?
 

Greetings one and all and thanks for all the past help.

It has been a great 8-year run with a Simon Amex giftcard with a long expiration date (that I've looked all over for but somehow lost). And now PayPal wants the card updated by the end of the month or, I presume, they'll keep me from withdrawing funds.

The PayPal account, and me, are U.S. based and it's a pretty stable stealth dating back to 2006, but neither the name nor the address match the real one (it's instead a street address version of a P.O. box, on advice from a version of the eBay stealth that existed at the time). Nothing really complicated.

So I'm just asking which one's the best now (could do physical card from Walgreen's or VCC). Long expiration dates really a great bonus. I assume it needs to allow an address to be registered onto it so the AVS will go through. IIRC, on the last card in 2013 I bought with $30 or so on it and just let the funds sit. I don't expect to use the card except for the verification.

BTW, I think I already may have a false start by buying an Amex physical giftcard, as the service on the 800 number is terrible and the woman I talked to said they can't put an address on that particular card. Trial and error doesn't seem to be a good method with this.

Me personally I use VCC .
But any good VCC will work perfectly.

VCC for sure. And it doesn't matter if the card expires at all. You already have a bank account verfied with microdeposits for withdraw

Well, I think I may be doing this wrong. I tried again with the Simon virtual Visa, which took in all the AVS info. In adding it to PayPal it sailed through (AVS match) and showed as a Visa debit, but I did not get the part about it doing a sample charge with a code and wanting that code to be input. So I'm concerned it won't "count" in terms of being sufficient to keep the withdrawal limit lifted, and is another false start.

The Simon Amexes and the physical Amexes in the stores apparently don't take AVS info anymore (was able to call and get that added when I did it 7 years ago).

I looked at Ezzocard but unless I'm reading it wrong with the blue and the green ones it looks like the validity is only a year. Was really hoping for something with a longer expiration.

Any other suggested vendors?
