Can PayPal see my bank account info?
 

I live in Sweden and have a Swedish business, I got banned from PayPal a few months back. So I created a new PayPal in another name (real person that I know that was cool with it) with my business bank account connected to the pp account.

The account got banned after like $4k in sales in a week.

So my question is can PayPal see that the name on the bank account linked to the PayPal in Sweden? Because that’s the only thing I can think that could have gotten the account banned.

(Got banned the day after sending in ID verification of the person who’s name is on the account)

If you put 4k through a new Paypal account in one week your chances of getting limited are 114.8%... Bank account wasn´t the problem.

Many Ebay sellers (old and new) run 5 figures in a week,$4k is not a problem unless he is selling digitals

I don’t sell on eBay, I sell on shopify

Even for a shopify store? I don’t sell on eBay. But I guess the platform doesn’t really matter since it was probably to much to do $4k on a brand new acc in a few days.

PayPal can’t see the name etc on the bank account in Sweden? Is there anyway to find out if they can see that? Don’t really want to get banned again

If you have good selling history, then yes. But OP appeared to have done this on a new PayPal account.

Right on - while i'm not sure about shopify, the initial rate and $ received is too high on a new account

Platform doesn´t matter. A Paypal transaction is a Paypal transaction no matter if your run transactions through a managed cart Shopify/Bigcommerce or your own site via your own cart solution or open source solution like Woocommerce or Magento... The only small advantage a managed setup like Bigcommerce or Shopify will give you is that if you were limited on a previous domain you could keep the domain and just setup the cart so that transactions are sent to Paypal via your carts managed URL I.E. store123456,myshopify,com as opposed to yourdomain,com... Also Shopify Payments are better suited for higher volume out of the gate as they use Stripe in the background so the vetting takes place before they allow you to transact.

So normally they can't see name on bank.

But they can see if when you add funds from Bank to PP.
