Angry Ripped off by Paypal - Help

We are a company in New Zealand and have been scammed by Paypal

Please can someone let us know how to sue or take Paypal to court

We have been ripped off $2505.48US dollars

They just started taking money out from 6/8/21 to 8/9/21

the transactions say email is paypal-ads-ireland2fb.com

we have not done any facebook ads since april 2021?

We dont play facebook games and we have not subscribed to any purchase or ongoing agreements

We have looked up all purchase agreements and nothing there either

we filed a investigation with Paypal and they have declined to refund due to not be unauthorized

We have done our research and we are not alone!

i have researched back to at least 2013 where this scam has been taking place

please can someone advise how can we sue paypal

we are starting by going to all news media outlets in relation to our story also

look forward to hearing from someone

They haven't stolen anything from you.

You have a facebook or instagram account with your paypal address linked to it. Your social media account may have been hacked and someone has run adverts (for their own products/services) totalling to that amount which has now been billed to your paypal.

Go to the billing section in your paypal and you will see a "direct debit / billing agreement" set up.

Sounds like you have some chargebacks to file if those charges are not legit.

Angry Re: Ripped off by Paypal - Help

Hi James,
thanks for your reply
we have printed off all accounts statements, billing agreements everything that this could do with both in Facebook and also in Paypal
there is nothing since we last did a product ad back in May
this is totally a scam- after research this has been happening since 2013 as far as i can see
It is another way Paypal can make money without needing any sort of authorization
James: Tip dont say someone hasent stolen money unless you know for sure- we have the evidence- jumping to your own conclusions is a little immature
we have all the evidence

Sloker- yes you are correct however of course for that much money they wont be wanting to give it back

they are trying to tell you someone hacked into your FB or instagram account and use it to run their own ads.?
Paypal did not steal your money, the money went to the one which provided the service.

if the money is taken from your credit card, you can go to the card issuer and file UA chargeback

Dunno about New Zealand, but the email OP cited is invalid.

the transactions say email is paypal-ads-ireland2fb.com
THIS is not a valid email address

You should go into your Paypal account settings and find where it lists the billing agreements you have set up. The manner in which you get to that page varies depending on which iteration of the Paypal home page your account currently has. Find the billing agreement that corresponds to this company you claim is defrauding you, and revoke that authorization.

Paypal isn't scamming you at all. At some point in the past you authorized automatic payments to this company and you haven't revoked that authorization if the company can still pull money from your Paypal without your consent.

I agree with what everyone said here, it's not PP that's the problem most likely you either got hacked or you have set an auto pay somehow for these ads.
