Reused IBAN

I want to use a PayPal IBAN to use it in another new PayPal with another name. It's possible ?. Has someone closed a PayPal account in good condition, with an IBAN to which they have sent money and without uploaded documents (it has not reached € 1800-2500) and then opened another (different name / data) and has put the same IBAN?.

I don't think it can be done across accounts - even if possible, it's not at all safe and can lead to linking and headaches

Thank you rsot. But nobody has tried it?: Closing a non verified PayPal in good standing with IBAN and withdrawals. Then months later opening a PayPal in different name but with same IBAN as the closed one.
Or maybe it could only work if the name/ surname is the same !

I know in the US I used the same bank acct over a couple of accts - removed it from one paypal and shut it down then added it to another.
This was years and years ago though so no idea if that would work these days - id bet it wouldnt.

it doesn't work

with me did not even work on a debit card where I removed the same card on one account and still could not add to another one although it had been suggested by paypal it should work

Well, as on eBay, PayPal allows you to close your account and once done there's a message saying you are welcome to come back anytime.
So I don't see why open a new PayPal account if it's under the same name/ surname won't let you use the same IBAN of the closed account ...

From PAYPAL FAQ: "Can one bank account be used on two different PayPal accounts?":

You can add a bank account to one PayPal account at a time. However, if approved, you may be able to add it to a second PayPal account. You will be informed when linking the bank to the second PayPal account if you have been approved.

Try removing the bank account from the PayPal account it’s currently linked to. There is help if you forgot your login details.
