Large Buy transactions PayPal

I recently made a pretty large buy order of $9,000 on an aged PayPal but it hasn't had that much of buy transactions in the recent months.

So it got flagged for suspicious activity.

My question is,
I also sell about $9,000-$35,000 on PayPal each month.

If I were making selling history in the PayPal account, will I still be flagged next time I make a big transaction of about $9,000?

unlikely, but it happens from time to time. Just make sure you are not moving funds too fast/too often, especially that huge amounts.

Whenever I'm making a big transaction I actually call PP and let them know.
So far this has worked for me in the past.

Ahh I never thought of this. This is a good way of doing this

Do you know if its ok to use the customer support live chat instead of physically calling?

calls have greater impact for me as they put notations on your account.

Greater impact as in a bad impact?

or greater impact as in has greater affect on the matter youre calling about?

it all depends upon certain situations. But calling is still the best. If you don't get a better answer, then call again. Some reps are trash tbh and won't go an extra mile. You can tell if their really willing to help or just merely doing their spiels

Physical calling feels like it would get quicker action but a lot depends on the quality of the agent

Re: Large Buy transactions PayPal

I made a big mistake and made a purchase around $5000 on my aged PayPal account and got limited.. they asked me to verify all my debit cards and upload ID. 1 hour later I got a email saying I could no longer use PayPal.

But this was because I was on vacation and I was using Hotel Wi-Fi and Nord VPN. I wish someone would have told me how risky it was to use VPNs and public Wi-Fi on PayPal.

So please if you’re making some unusual big payment amounts please use a IP that you normally use on PayPal. And if you’re on vacation use Mobile Data or Hotspot.
