| KODE332 | 06-10-2022 08:35 AM | Paypal now allows BTC transfer So ive just read that paypal US will now allow users to transfer BTC and other crypto to EXTERNAL wallets. This is great news. However users will need to be verified and or pass additional checks and this will be rolled out in US to invited users.
Has anyone tried to get their crypto out this way? and what additional checks are they asking for? is it anything new? Unfortunately I dont have US accounts so I cant check myself.
Regards |

| JamesNorth101 | 06-10-2022 08:54 AM | Re: Paypal now allows BTC transfer Its more buying BTC with a PP then sending that BTC to another wallet as a way of cashing out |

Regards | Ugh… I would not trust PayPal to do your crypto. Just use your own wallet ,mate.
Would you trust your uncle who is in the mafia with a penny? I think not.
Even IF the fees are lower, it ain’t worth it.
They’ll ask for your ID and all kinds of things. Not worth it. |

The consensus was that it will not replace the need to have an attached bank account. It's merely a facility they plan to offer to fully verified accounts.
I mean, you do understand that they still need the ability to recover monies owed, chargebacks etc don't you? |
| Mirdude | 06-10-2022 12:10 PM | Re: Paypal now allows BTC transfer I assume that in the US they have a ton of verification measures in order to get crypto to withdraw.
Would make life harder, unless they let you withdraw without X,Y,Z steps, I see this as pointless. Much easier methods out there, but let's see what they require in the US in order to make it happen, because they'll use similar techniques if/when they bring it to the UK. |

I can not for the life of me imaging someone needing such a ****tty service unless they are scamming or offering ****ttty service themselves.
You seem like a douchecanoe, |

| Easystealth | 06-30-2022 12:32 PM | Re: Paypal now allows BTC transfer Scanning ID and scanning your face through PayPal app required to enable these new features, which makes the verification process pretty hard for stealth accounts. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:02 PM. | |
