PayPal temp hold

On one of my stealths, they sent an email out after it received a payment:

We've placed the money on hold because we believe this transaction may involve a higher risk than usual. There's no need for you to do anything. As long as no claims are raised by the buyer or any issues arise with your account, the money will be released automatically in 21 days.

-Normally from the buyer's side, there is an option to confirm receipt 48 hours after payment has been made, on this occasion there is not. Would it be best for the seller to ship a document of the overview of the work, such as an invoice?

Can't afford to wait 21 days, so just wondering what would be best here - order marked as processed, but still no confirm option showing as such.

Service was provided (intangible), not a good that was sent out.
I'm not an idiot lol, if it were trackable I would have attached the tracking no.

Buyer paid you via debit/credit card. (maybe via stolen card) So there no way. You must wait 21 days in this case. You can mark order as processed but this will not help you. I already have this issue time before. No way...

Wait, so you provided service and got paid through PP or did you sell a digital item?

Either way whenever I see them send this type of email you got no choice but to wait.

I've had a couple of these in the past myself which didn't make sense for what I sold + tracking, but they released the funds in 3 and sometimes 7 days.

Purchasing a valid tracking with "delivered" status may be an option to get funds released.

For deliveries, I think they can release early still...

Yep, I realised this - only way is if you phone up, get a nice rep and they release funds as "manual" through their end. Most cases it's a 21 day wait (if it's a service) though, makes it a rubbish way of dealing with payments.
