I don't trust PayPal support

Basically I have to upload docs for one of my accounts but the nationality option for the ID is locked and can't be changed to the actual ID nationality.

PayPal Indian support tells me nationality doesn't matter and all that matters is the information matches.

I don't want to get the account locked by listening to them.

Has anyone experienced this or have any advice?

I haven't tried Paypal India - hopefully others also confirm what alexmoreno stated

This is for an indian paypal and you used your own country's ID?

No South African PayPal. When I call USA support it goes to an Indian call center.

So you provided South African ID for South African PP? If so - that's fairly normal

it's good that you don't trust whatever PP said... but you used a South African ID on a south African PP?
