Paypal Restricted Country??
 

Hi,

So Paypal is not working anymore in my country but I have a Shopify store which I'd like to add Paypal to receive payments.
I've built Shopify store and email using my regular Turkish IP.
I will create PP account using my US LLC business details, US IP and a separate user account. Have a few questions;

- Using the same email which I used for Shopify could be an issue? I thought I can copy the url in PP email to "confirm my email" and open it in the other user account where my email account is.

- Although I don't enter PP website at my Shopify user account whenever I check my website I see PP cookies. This would be a problem eventually?

- Or using Shopify and PP with different IPs was a bad idea at first place? Shopify and PP should have same user account and IP?

Any other problems I haven't addressed??

so you are going to open a US paypal account with your business LLC,how are you going to get the fund out of your US Paypal account?
Do you have a US bank account?

it is possible to open paypal in most countries where you have access to bank accounts. USA is no good for this unless you are a US resident and have SSN

But my bank account is in US, LLC too.

My main concern is Shopify account is using Turkish IP, Paypal will have US ip and different windows user. So how am I going to connect Paypal to Shopify?

Shopify funds will come in US dollars? shouldnt have an issue just connecting the pp to shopify - you aren't going through shopify to connect to pp...separate platforms

can he use Turkey IP to access his US Paypal account?
There was a time someone went to Pakistan and he cant access his US paypal account

with business paypal IP is likely not an issue. the only issue I see here is that USA paypal will need SSN , if the TO does not have a US resident for paypal verification they will not be able to use paypal , bank account location does not matter here

Yeah funds will be in USD. Could you explain more? So there is a button on Shopify to connect your PP account and it takes you directly to PP sign in page while my IP is a Turkish one, which will certainly be a problem.

Do you think if I simply copy the link of that button and then later open it in US Ip and sign in PP, could this be a solution?

I don't have SSN but have Itin. US address verification if asked might be an issue you are right. Do they ask utility bill also for Business accounts?

They could ask for utility bill as part of the "laundry list" - if you get to that point, the account is more often than not, toast
