Upgrading PayPal to Business Account
 

Hi Everyone,

does anyone know if upgrading from a personal to business account do they still hold the funds or give you access to them instantly after a sale?

I'm using my friends PayPal account which has been active since 2018 and want to change it over to a business account, I know on my personal account they only let me have access to $300 a month, sucks its like this used to be instantly no matter what sale come in, wish they would still do this would make life easier.

Regardless they'll never just release the funds.

But if your account is that old with history the hold shouldn't be there.

just started selling on the account back in Sept of this year, so not sure how much selling history i would have to build up

figure at least 90 days steady

25 items and $250 total sales and 90 days since 1st sale is sweet spot

It's almost nothing, but a month worth is better than 0 plus the account is 4 years old so it's better than just nothing at all.

Just use common sense when you are building a small business.

sell a little, get feedback, sell a little more, get feedback rinse and repeat

paypal care mostly about security , their own security

so do nothing on business paypal you would not do on a personal paypal

there is no such thing as a free ticket on paypal unless it is a free ticket for paypal

just noticed i'm starting to get instant payments on smaller orders around $200-$400 so thats good
