could I add this bank account to paypal?
 

I have a very good brick & mortor bank that only allows me to have one account at a time... I have already used this bank account number with paypal once and the account got limited...

The account number is like this 0000*********, and that is the way I entered it into Paypal the first time, with all the zeros in front of the number...

I have figured out that it will stil be routed to the same account if I remove the zeros and jsut enter the rest of the numbers..

So If I do it that way , take the zeros out , could I add it to a new Paypal account?

have u tried it yet and see if it works if u get the mircos that would be great. you would think though useing a different account # the mricos wouldnt come and it would be a invlad account.

I'm not sure that would work. Maybe try to add the zeroes on the end of it. Only success I had was with prepaid card accounts. Especially the ones that give you a different number that is 16 digits and different then the card number. Then you can add that 1 and then add it a second time using the 16 digit card number. Keep us posted on wheather or not it works.

well see, The account numnber is actually just the numbers without the zeros on my checkbook... But when I first got the account , on the paperwork it had all the zeros in fron t of the number , so I enterd it like that into paypal...and it worked... I ahvent tried it yet... I think I will do that now ... Ill report back :)

Now I'm wondering if it would also work in reverse. If you had an account number with no leading zeros then would it still work if you added a '0' to the front?

it worked like a charm :) I took all the zeros out and just entered the numbers, deposits showed up this morning.

I just tried it and it didnt work i took out the 0s that was in front of my account and it still said the account number was used on another paypal account :mad:

The account I used is with woodforest... perhaps it has something to do with what bank it is? *shrug*

I used emgrmnt direct bank but then agin the account is linked to a good standing pp not a limted one.

Second thought: This morning I find that my status was changed from verified to unverified, and they removed the bank account, guess they caught on to it.. which I figured they would in the first place , but its a spare account so it was worth a shot :)

yeah i bet they read this post on here and fixed it cause when i tried to add the 0s it said bank was alrdy used with Pp
