Using Paypal abroad-possible?
 

I have a legit UK Paypal. (which I use to use in the UK) Now I'm abroad.

Does Paypal allow us to use it while abroad for purchases etc?

I don't want to jeopardise the account by logging in from a foreign IP.
I have UK residential IPs but not sure if Paypal can detect if I use these Ips in another country.

I would ask paypal but their reps often contradict policy and would like to hear your experiences.

Call them up and tell them where you are.

Still best if you can use a VPN though.

If that residential is from IPburger it'll work just fine. I do it all the time

first of all you need to make sure that you know all account details and have valid email and mobile on file

this is far more important than IP because all these details allow to unblock the account in case access is blocked or individual features like withdrawals get blocked

if you try to log into your account from a country Paypal does not do business in,it could lock up your account e.g,Pakistan

That's actually what I use too.
So you'll be fine. Just make sure the shield is green and you can see your IP on the bottom pf the browser

I have EE and when I use my phone abroad I always get an UK IP but I don't know if this is true for every carrier but maybe check your IP while abroad?

Yea I wouldn't trust it.

Some of you like to play with fire and forgetting that the consequences is losing your account which equates to losing your business

I turned on Ipburger UK residential proxies and went to paypal but it wouldn't open.. Is it just me or is paypal blocked for IPburger?

i doubt pp is blocked for ipburger

there is a tendency for paypal to open slowly with some ip's so you first try to wait for 3-7 minutes while it is trying to open

I got no problem with mine.

It sometimes takes a minute for the IP to settle and let the internet connect to the platform.

You don't want your real IP exposed to PP before your ipburger IP kicks in right? It's built in safety

I use VP.N without major issues from overseas for years, no need for residential IPee in my opinion. You will get a few captchas though.

Also creating the account is often best with a clean IP as possible.

Speaking of Captcha, I haven't gotten those for quite awhile now but then again I'm using a residential ip
