Removing metadata from the "creative" docs provided to PP

Hey everyone,

I'm about to provide the proof of address to Paypal which have been slightly modified. I was wondering, what should I do with the file itself to make sure there is no signs of "creative" manipulations?

The person who was helping me with it just sent me .jpg file. The quality of the doc seems really decent, but my concern is that the file itself might contain some traces of photoshopping I'm not aware of.

I assume the best way would be to print the doc and then scan it, but it wouldn't work in my case unfortunately.

Any image viewed and saved in paint.net (free software) the metadata is removed, I use it on all images put into listing

This is a website for checking the metadata of image files. It suggests checking the metadata of the image file before sending it to PayPal. For example, if it shows that the image was edited with Adobe Photoshop, then use some tricks to completely remove them. It recommends finding someone who can print documents and take a real photo

Do they have an iPhone app for it too?

Thanks for your inputs, guys. Appreciate it.

I know that printing the document and then scan it would be the best option. That's the way I've done it before and it went smoothly.

The problem I have now is that the original file I'm being creative with is a photo of friend's bank statement. He photographed it laying not really flat. That's why if I print it it's really noticeable. As a digital file it works quite well tho.

My concern is that Paypal has some software to analyse the file and even see if metadata has been removed. That's I was wondering what would be the best way to do it.

it's not uncommon for meta files and like location data to be removed nowadays considering everything is being tracked.

Doubt this would cause an issue as SaiJin indicated
