PayPal US being difficult releasing funds
 

Item is delivered - before there was option (months ago) for buyer to confirm, now there is not months later.

Anyway, I'm on a new acc - aged US and have some funds, product delivered and signed by buyer but PayPal are telling me some bs about threshold? X amount of my money from sale was given instant, rest is on hold but they are saying 21 days now even tho it's delivered. They said they need to request for threshold increase cuz security system won't allow a release?

What do u guys recommend doing? I always thought it's after 24 hours, now I gotta wait weeks lol...

Honestly it's not unusual.

THere were times my 10 year old account all of a sudden got a 21 day hold for 3 days...

Not super new actually, had transactions from 2022, new in terms of receiving higher amounts of money my bad.

PP holding funds randomly isn't new. It could be something you did or they are just in that time of the month for them.

As long as you ship fast and has tracking recorded the hold will drop off eventually.

sometimes,it could be your buyer,if he has a record of filing disputes or as a seller,on the receiving end of disputes.
or taking longer for Paypal to process the payments

If your account had no holds but you stopped selling for a while then started receiving large payments you can get a hold...just be happy they didn't steal your money

OP, when you say "aged US", it's still considered new if sales have only started recently
