Withdrawing after 180 days.
 

Hello,
I have old paypal business EU account. On this paypal I have locked amount about 2500 EUR. Paypal hold this money on 2020 and until 2023 I can't transfer it to my bank. Response from PayPal: we still reviewing your case...
Did someone have the same problem?

Maybe it is possible to hire a lawyer to return the money, but the company registered on paypal is closed now...

what is the reason for holding your money?
Have you reviewed Paypal AUP policy?

You can't use PayPal anymore

At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account that’s inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services.

Based on this decision, if applicable, you are no longer eligible for PayPal Seller Protection as per our User Agreement. This will apply to all existing and future cases you receive.

Any bank or card information linked to your PayPal account cannot be removed nor can it be used to create a new account. You can still log in and see your account information but you can’t send or receive money. How have you contacted them?

Have you supplied them with all the documents they have requested?

Honestly I think they are just keeping your money.

It's been more than 180 days and that's what they like doing

I always see and deal with such cases.
I had case where Paypal held money for several years.
As long as they didn't wipe account the account, you need to keep stressing them til they give you your money. NO need of lawyer. I had case where they were holding 65k in one account, finally after 2 years they paid it.

Yes, I have send all documents and I have contacted support many times, response: we still reviewing your case... PayPal activity is only selling on eBay about about 300+ orders all with positive feedback, and one returning case accepted and refunded to buyer.

PayPal have office in my country I think lawyer can resolve it, holding of my money really illegal, and this is real account not stealth. But now I blocked in Ukraine and can't go to my lawyer in EU (

Only one request of return 29$ amount, accepted and solved with refund without returning of item.

The only thing yo ucan do now if your money is still in the account is keep calling until you get a rep that can add your bank account to withdraw.

Other than that... 3 years doesn't look good
