Does PayPal limit new accounts if single payments of 400 euros are obtained?

I recently created an American business account with real data of my company but after receiving the first payment of 400 euros PayPal asked for information such as the website, the type of product sold, etc., so after providing the information they closed my account

consider that I showed a website where I sell cosmetics (so no high risk products)

Somtimes yes sometimes no. Depends on a lot of things. Paypal US is strict though

cosmetics coupled with sale of 400 euros as the first sale could be considered risky.

how long was the account in existence before this payment came in?

Cosmetics are high risk items due to the sheer volume of counterfeits being sold worldwide.

Given all the info you supplied Paypal was legit and verifiable then that would indicate they dont like your business model.

If you had a bit of payment history on the account then your chances would be much higher.

are your cosmetic from legit distributor/wholesaler?are they authentic
