everyone here says you can link a bank account with a different name than Paypal account as bank would not tell Paypal what name is on the bank account.
But PAYPAL would ask you to verify the bank account by depositing 2 small sum and ask you to tell them what they are?

In the early days,PAypal is able to verify your Paypal name with the bank account name as some members will use Johnnie Smith for Paypal and John Smith for bank and it would not work,then Paypal switched to deposit verification.

citibank and bank of america have separate routing for virtual accounts , paypal do not accept that routing easily

I am not talking about routing number,I am saying early days,Paypal can verify name of your paypal account and name of your bank account,but gave up later .

For US Paypal account,one can ask Paypal TO SEND a bank check to a verified US address for a small fee.
Can you friend give you his SSN and address?
Then a bank check would be mailed to his address payable to the name on the Paypal account,then the next question is can he deposit this check>

Dont recall what happens when a payment is not accepted,does it go back to the sender after x number of days?
if a check is payable to a person who does not exist,some banks would accept it,so your friend could try to deposit it.
so it is Tik Tok which send the money not the Tik tok buyer,but if you do not ship,the buyer would complain to Tik Tok,and it would take the money back
A paypal account can have 5 email addresses,yours is the primary,but there is only one $$ balance,if you can add another email to your PAYPAL account,you can use that one -
No I dont think it would work,if your main account cant come up with SSN.

IF Tik Tok can claw back the money from Paypal,then you can make a new listing with your friend Paypal address??
You can have 5 email addresses per one PAYPAL account,say 5 persons in a family can use one PAYPAL account,but there is only one balance.
Say I have 5 websites,and I dont want anyone to know they all belong to one person,so I use a different Paypal address for each website,but the money all go to one account.
But I doubt it would help in your case.
