Can I still use my old PP after ebay account got suspended?
 

HI all, I just bought and read ebay stealth, it's a great book, but I still have a question.

Can I still use my old PP after ebay account got suspended?
All my ebay account just got suspended(1 year), but my paypal is OK, nothing wrong at all. So I am wondering, can I register a new Ebay account by using ***** name and other info, and add a new address to my old Paypal to accept payment?

I heard someone said it is OK if I don't link my **** ebay account with my paypal. Please help. Thank you.

No, that paypal account may not be used with ebay again. It is linked and dead for ebay purposes.

the paypal is worth keeping though, as it can be used for non-ebay stuff

It may also be used in a 3rd party checkout with ebay or you can also use it to send the invoice manually with ebay.

Using that same PP account will get ur new EB account suspended sooner of later, just a matter of time. It may last longer if ur PP is very old.

Only if you put the suspended paypal email in your listing, you can use another merchant like moneybookers and for those that ask for paypal send them the invoice directly to their e-mail.

Basically no, you can't link your Paypal account to a fresh Ebay account.

I've been in a similar situation with 2 accounts, and had the reverse situation with 2 accounts, ie, where a paypal account is blocked/restricted/or had a warning, but the Ebay account was still good. Now that's really sickening!!!

So in desperation I just did a swap- I added a new email address to the 'good' paypal account, and filled that paypal payment address to the 'good' ebay account on the sell your item form. Miraculously it has worked, for how long that can go on I don't know, you'd have thought about one sale, but amazingly no!

What about just the bank account on it

If the Ebay account is suspended or restricted, I couldnt remove the bank account off the paypal to it and put it on a new paypal account, under a new a name etc if the paypal was never limited?

No not if you intend to use it for Ebay. It would be linked straight back to the suspended Ebay account....

It is no different to carrying on using original Paypal account on a new Ebay account.
