can PayPal request my passport again?

Hello everyone, my PayPal account has been restricted and they asked for a copy of my ID. I attached a copy of my ID to them and my account was successfully restored. So will PayPal ask for a copy of my ID again in the future?

They can ask multiple times...if your account ever gets restricted indefinitely never use the same cellphone to take a picture for another account. They will link it

Why is he asking for it again if they had the ID before or do they not keep the ID after they verify it?

Probably it is the bot asking for ID,something you do trigger it,it does not go back and see if you have submitted your ID in the past.
So watch what you do in the future.
