what is the maximum payment for my stealth paypal account?

Hi,
Paypal limited 5 accounts of mine, when i call them, they told me that i got too many money for the first month, but it's only $800-$1100. my question is: for the stealth account, do we have to maintain all the payment below $1000 in a month? Thank you.

Welcome to the forum,max. :cheer:

'Only $800-$1100' is enough for paypal to have concerns about the account. New accounts have to be used carefully & slowly. Much depends on what you sell, much depends on how long the money stays in the account B4 being transferred out. If there is anything that looks 'risky' paypal protects itself & limits the account.
All I can suggest is maintaining the account without disputes, give great customer services: this in turn will allow your limit to be higher. I gather you have a fully verified paypal account as well?

I also noticed paypal likes when you ship your item[s] ASAP (same day as possible) and put the tracking number in their system. That will allow them to see that you are trustworthy so that will raise your chances of not being limited so fast. But I also know that it's not good to leave alot of of money if not ANY in the account due to a possible chargeback...:pout:

its all bull...you have to make sure that the stealth info is actually valid...they do a small credit report to make sure the name and date of birth is valid......i created a stealth account aged it for one month and made 10k in 2 weeks... stopped selling completely untill all the funds were in my bank because of the hold, than restart.... just make sure the info is valid and you ship the items asap and try not to have any disputes...litteraly tell the buyer you will offer full refund, and keep the item...<<<<<< thats what its getting to, to stay off the radar

notice how when you sign up all they ask for is your name address and date of birth...

Maybe once you're trying to sell a certain volume of stuff, but I really doubt they bother to do this for every single paypal account right away.

Either that or they've gotten a LOT stricter since I last dealt with them! :faint:

^^^^They are getting a LOT stricter. In fact the term 'screwing us' comes to mind.:tears:

I heard on tv paypal's internal setup has 3 seconds to decide whether your safe or not as soon as you click open account... and then the internal profiling goes from there.

I know everyones situation is different but if you have to sell on a new account I would suggest only verifying your bank account to keep a $500 limit in place....so when you call them they can't run off at the mouth about how your a risk....sometimes your results are based on the person you talk to there NOT the policy that is in place.

Yes we have had $1000 run through an account in almost 3 months and got the restriction notice even after social was inputed from the start....I think matching address and name is overlooked too often and now ebay is checking name and address right off the bat for the most part for new sellers.... there is a little less slack each day.

I have a Paypal account that I just checked which hasn't been used for several months now. Though I haven't tried selling on it, it still lets me make payments and donations. Also it is LINKED with unmistakeable info to my real info and social security number (and consequently to my terrible credit). But the account still hasn't been limited even after all this time.
