Anyone able to just enter a SS# anymore
 

I have been using friends as a good source for new paypal accounts for awhile and have noticed recently the entering of the SS# no longer seems to work. I try to put it in and get the message saying it cannot be entered at this time and i have to manually do it, ie send the SS Card and all that. Is anyone else having this happen alot? Seems like it could be a paypal ploy to get people to give up more information than they want to.

Could be random check. Or that SSN's used in another PP acct.
