chargeback help
 

I sold a vehicle for $2,800.00 on ebay the buyer paid and then came 3 days later to pick it up. Looked at it and picked it to death. He refused to take it with him and left. A week later ebay freezes my paypal account until case was closed i agreed to give back $2,300.00 but was going to keep the deposit for listing fees and to relist and them wasting my time that i took the day off to meet them. Ebay said ok case closed. 2 weeks later paypal hits me with a chargeback and freezes my account for the $500.00 i have responded to the chargeback and it is being reviewed. They said it could take several weeks. Is there anything i can do to clear this up quick and cancel all my accounts with ebay and paypal?

No nothing you can do except wait on the outcome.

If you want to abandon the accounts make sure you remove/cancel the cards and bank direct debit instruction associated with the account. This will prevent PayPal trying to recover funds from you.
