How to bypass Paypal PSD2 Phone Authentication
 

Hi all,

I’ve lost my SIM card, and as a result, my number is inactive. When I try to recover my PayPal account by using the 'Forgot Password' option, I’m given the choice to verify via email, text message, or WhatsApp. After selecting email, I receive a verification code, but when I enter the code, I am again asked to verify via text message or WhatsApp. Since this is a stealth account, I am unable to verify my identity with a selfie, and I don’t have access to the phone number linked to the account. Please assist me in bypassing this verification step. Can someone guide me on how to resolve this issue?

You phone them up and change the number

Sometimes they will ask for ID - if they do just ring back a few days later

Eventually they will change it for you

Do you know any where to rent phone number ?
I have many accounts but I still not find anywhere.

eh? Just go to your local provider and get a sim card phone.

It's simple. avoid VOIP

Just buy a PAYG SIM top it up and use that :)

I have a lot of PP accounts that are of no real importance, hence the sim card had expired a long time ago. When I call to try and change the number they first of all pretend they have changed it, then when you tell them it doesn't work they all of a sudden take you through some credit check history at that point I hang up and ditch them

Yep you have to go through to a certain department and say the right things

Its why it can take a few attempts to get done

Sometimes its done the first time

Otherwises you have to try a few times
