Same issue with PayPal

Hello guys, update on PayPal i bought a Vodafone 30GB Data Dongle - 90 Days from a retailer yesterday and created a new username on PC so everything is fresh and new Tesco SIM card and got the same message.

Do I need valid ID on the PayPal accounts I’m creating? And I tried everything i could think off and no answers found on google research and no idea why PayPal is being such a pain.

Is this problem from my end or PayPal end?

Sometimes they let small payments come through like £5 or £10 and after that no more payments.

https://imgur.com/a/tInG5Aq

Thanks.

Sometimes it works with the small payment and sometimes it doesn’t let anything through.

So it’s definitely not a IP address issue nor a device issue because I created it on a Laptop with a new username

I bought a vcc few days ago and attached it onto the account and didn’t make any difference still got hit with the same problem - if I buy a bank account would that work??

Buying a stealth book wouldn’t help either because it’s got the old methods in there.

Yes and I'm still having problems receiving payments like before.

Yeah it’s only happening with F&F not with G&S

Still using the F&F option heavy I see - it's always rough if overused.

Can’t use G&S PayPal will ask for ID straight away after that transaction comes through the account.

Paypal UK does this automatically?

MIne still doesn't do that, but of course I'm not in UK so I wouldn't know

I don’t know but whenever I told them to send by G&S PayPal seems to limit the account straight away after the G&S transaction.

Is anyone else in the UK having this problem with G&S??

I'd definitely ask the account seller about this. Only they know the answer.

Again, I don't know much about UK, but on my end if they do that it means the account is flagged.

And it's because the creation method wasn't correct

Paypal does not like F & F because it earns nothing.
Can you use another payment method?

I can’t use G&S on PayPal they seem to put limits on the account whenever a transaction comes into the account in G&S.

Fix temporarily - if you keep doing F&F, you can expect to have issues in the future...if you stick to G&S, should be fine

Depends on the age of the account and how much money going through them etc

Again and again It doesn’t let me use G&S, if it doesn’t limit my account I will use G&S no problem and I don’t mind paying fees.

using fnf is fine and its very difficult to provide proof of fulfilment to paypal to proove g&s payments. right after G&S payment paypal limit account to verify activity.
FNF is fine in personal accounts. G&S is business account friendly.

Understood - this issue has been dragging

Re: Same issue with PayPal

You need to slowwwwwwww down. Create accounts, let them age at least a couple wekes before any payments. At that time, process 1 or 2 in week three. 1 or 2 in week four. Then you should be able to process freely. Also, don't even consider F&F payments until week five. Show PayPal you are happy with 21 day holds. (F&F on less than a month old account is suicide IMO - screams scam. Why would PayPal trust you?)

Some might be more aggressive than this with their timeline (which is fine), but we follow the above and it's very rare we run into issues.

FnF is not good to use over and over again..... they'll ban you for it.

Seems like OP can't even use G&S - could be something to do with what is being sold...

I think he said he sells digital products?
So if there is no tracking, his buyers could easily file INR.
He should really find another payment method, not Paypal

Correct, if selling digital products...very messy potentially dealing with Paypal.

Perhaps Square or Shopify are worth considering.

So if I create a business PayPal account will it let me use G&S without receiving a limitation as it’s G&S friendly?

Yes I sell digital goods and I been selling same digital goods for 11 years and it wasn’t a problem PayPal might have changed something or it’s just me due to that account closure I done.

why not ask other sellers who sell digital if they have the same problem with Paypal,if you go to Paypal seller forum, you can see if others have same problem

You'll need ID and address proof to open a UK Paypal business account. It's been part of the opening process for quite some time now.

UKGiftWarranty's post above is excellent. If you follow his advice you might have half a chance of getting new accounts up and running.

Seems somewhat clear after reading through the thread and info being posted.

Idk about the status of those pp forums - you checked it out recently?

Is the device you used to register the new account the same as the one previously associated with a banned account? New accounts linked to a banned device are typically suspended as well.

Update: I have an account that had this problem and it’s 1 month and 2 weeks aged account and I told a customer try to send and it did not work.

Really frustrating and not sure why it’s happening.

And the account was verified with card or bank account?

I don't know if it will definitely work but it's certainly better than doing nothing and continually posting about the issue on here.

It's either a verification issue or due to the age of the account or a combination of both.

Make sure you use a card with AVS enabled.

And on top of that, do this:-

Quote:

Spot on advise really

Only thing extra that really makes an account stronger is adding a bank account and card

Great point about confirming the account with a cc/vcc and verifying with a bank account.

Searching Reddit, etc it seems several has this issue now, assuming PayPal are becoming extremely strict with F&F payments. Even with small amounts and both parties verified, aged, history etc

Quite understandable - lot of abuse and fee evasion
