AI / Machine BlackListed / new rules starting 2026?
I've been trying to log into three different PayPal accounts today. I haven't used them before, but each time I try, I get blocked immediately—first one, then another. I thought maybe it was related to my location, so I switched to a new IP address via a 4G mobile network, but I was still blocked. Then I tried creating accounts using a different mobile IP, but two more accounts got blocked. Finally, I used my personal IP and my phone number, but I received the same message: "A new account with your name, we want to verify that it's yours."
Is this a new PayPal policy? Or am I somehow being detected, and is my computer already blacklisted? Any advice or experiences would be appreciated. |

| 1-3 months. new accounts. when i created them there were no problelms, so now i just get asked for ID right at login. |

| Not sure if it's the same thing or not but when I made a new amazon and don't use it immediately and let it sit, it gets nuked.

So this is actually kinda weird that it's happening to you.
Yes, AI has been creating issues for a while now, the only thing I can think of right now is perhaps wipe your OS and reinstall and give it another go? |
