Problem with paying on eBay using PayPal
 

Hi guys.
I'm trying to pay for a purchase on eBay.de via PayPal, but the payment isn't going through.
I keep getting the message: "Complete the checkout process via PayPal or select another payment method."

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this an eBay/PayPal glitch or something wrong with my account? How did you fix it?

Change the card in your paypal account or check for any limitations/issues with it.


Or set your card billing address Country and ZIP code(on eBay and PayPal) to match your card's actual billing address.

Facing the same problem here since begining of 2026.

I think all fresh PP Accs need a transaction history now and minimum 30 days+ to make transactions over 500$.

Any news here? Still facing the problem - also with aged paypal accounts and 5/5 verified.

Proxys with 0-2 fraudscore and 5G stick - so I dont think that its a IP problem.

The email address you have for Ebay,is it the same as the email addres for Paypal.
We can have 5 email address per Paypal account,

If he is coming from Ebay and tries to log into Paypal with an email address he registered with Ebay but not Paypal,then there will be a problem.
May be it is an Ebay/Paypal glitch,have you tried logging into your Paypal account outside Ebay and see if it works?

ive had this issue all year...it killed me...please if you have managed to resolve it let me know

Have had no issues at all with a well established account on eBay as well as other platforms. Sounds like a flag on the account.

hmmm you care to make a test payment on my ebay? ill refund back....just need to be certain its not a flag from my processes

Seems clear that this is not the issue at hand but might be worth a test.
