attaching a new paypal account to an existing ebay account ..
 

This may be a new 'twist' to the can and can't do's.

Say your PayPal account got limited, but your eBay account is fine. Have you ever tried adding and linking (sellers outside the US need to link to sell worldwide) a new PayPal account and continue selling?

I know using the same PayPal account on a different eBay account, after having the eBay account suspended, will get the new eBay account suspended too. But the other way around ...would it get the new PayPal account limited too?

Limited because of your limited Paypal account?

It's the same with Paypal. If you have multiple Paypal accounts, and if one of those accounts are limited, Paypal will limit your other accounts with them. They link accounts the same as eBay.

If you can be linked because of eBay… you probably can…

IMJSTME we already discussed this and your not a rookie at this. No, a brand new account on a brand new ebay account will not get you suspended.

But once again NEW Paypal accounts will get limited regardless.

I'm saying if your eBay account is fine, but your PayPal account is limited, could you drop the PayPal account and attach a new PayPal account to that eBay account?

I think it doesn't work though, since the linking would return an error that this eBay username has already been used with another PayPal account.

NOpe wont work, once Paypal see that money is coming in from the same Ebay account as before your going to get limited again..

Not proven but I'm going off common sense and logic

Like others have mention before it is not worth opening a new paypal account anymore because eventually your account will be linked to ebay no matter how you do it...They will limit your paypal account and sometimes they will do it with your ebay accounts at the same time, it happened to us....

I had 2 older paypal accounts and they all got limited after that all my ebay accounts got shut down, and they all said "abusing ebay"

I have a friend who has been going thru the same problem I have...They still have paypal account open and its limited, but who knows what could happen to that account....

I just recommend like others just use a merchant account...I will be doing that...I been calling different merchant account...And one of them told me "that he had alot people use their merchant account because of hearing that paypal locks paypal account. He even mentioned that the past 2 weeks they been getting alot of calls...."

So it seems alot of people are going thru that....
