Paypal unable to verify SImon card??
 

I went and got a simon card for to add as one of my 3 options for lifting the $500 withdrawal limit and I got the following:

We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. If the problem persists, please try to enter a different credit card.


now what? my only other option is ssn and bank. I figured I could pull off the bank thing but the ssn? rather not.

Okay......, another simon card??? You are just giving me slivers here. Thats what I meant on my other responses to you. The book says simon cards work fine. what would cause my card to not work.

Has the card got funds on it?

Simon card is not the only card out there.. That is what I meant.

Are you using a Simon gift account or physical card? Did you register the card with the same info on the Paypal account?

You're just giving us slivers. We all want to help you, but you've got to give us more details.

Its a real card with there minimum $20 on it. I went online and registered it and all that with name address and such.

Hey I know about this problem. When you try to register a noraml credit card. If you use stealth it will fail. The trick is to ensure that the numbers in the post code are the same.

The numbers in the first line of the address do not matter.

Twy tweaking your postal code to make it the same. You can still remain in stealth if you play with the numbers.

For example if your real address is

Jimmy Hipkin
108 Main Street
Canustules
CH32 6TY

and you try to register the address:

Peter Simpkins
324 Crow Street
Drabbles
CH33 5TY

It will fail. But if you keep the numbers in the post code the same as per first address and use

Ramble Junkin
55 Turner Street
Canustules
JU32 6UP

It will pass verification, works every time. In UK anyway.

I kept everything the same. I didnt really do a stealth account. I am using my sons information. I know some have a problem with this but he is 17 and we have talked about it. he will assume the account later. Thus why I dont want to mess it up. The only thing that isnt real on it it the address. Its a home next door that I am working on remodeling 4 myself. same zip code just a number off on the address itself. I used that address when registering with paypal and when I registered the card.

Don't quote me on this but maybe they are on to you if your son last name is the same as you limited account PLUS the street address, city, state and zip code. For example if your limitedPayPal account and new account looks like this they may still link you easily:

Ray Charells
400 Main St
Tampa, FL 01234

Jack Charells
404 Main St
Tampa, FL 01234

Close that PayPal account and try a new address in a different city or state. You can also try selecting 'add a new address'.

Also try a ups store and if needed get a box with them. I would recommend a differ town but you chose what's best for you.

Another thing simon gift cards is the card mostly advertised and recommend on this forum. However, in the stealth ebook you find next to simon gift card other gift cards which may work. I haven't tired the other cards yet, however, others have had success with 'vanilla mastercard gift cards' and 'vanilla visa" which is also mention in the stealth guide.

So to summarize this, here are some of your options.

1) try a new gift card (do some research and try the forum search, or review your stealth guide). Others have had success with 'vanilla mastercard gift cards' and 'vanilla visa" which is also mention in the stealth guide.

2) Try 'add new address' with a different street address, and optional (city and state) then try to verify it with a new address. You may have to by a new gift card but try to see if you can update your address online.

3) Try a ups store and if needed get a box with them. I would recommend a differ town but you chose what's best for you.

4) Optional- Close that PayPal account and try a new with the address in a different city or state.

Ho would I do a different city and state if I want some of my money out of it? That is a part of the book that confuses me completely.

jeez, your making this whole thing much harder then it has to be. very simple problem with several solutions.

You want a check mailed to you? Or your want access to a physical address so when you get a limitation you have a physical address to have your check sent to you? Get a ups store box, you will get access to your mail.
