There is a thread on this..... ask Tigerlord, I'm pretty sure he knows. It is very possible though, and I know it's not possible with other currencies.

Yes you can.
I make transfers in USD (Without converting to CAD$) from Paypal to my RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) USD Account.

If you have a Canadian based account in USD currency, you must add it as a US Bank account. I wrote a thread on how to add a Canadian based US$ account to a Canadian paypal (Link below).

You have to be very careful with this. Just an FYI.

no, transferring with different currencies.

the method suza outlined works like a charm

However, lets say you were withdrawing yen to a USA bank. You'll get limited in a heartbeat, on top of probably losing the funds.

Yes, you must only make transfer in USD$.
BE CAREFUL if you'll make this choice to pay ebay fees with Paypal. You'll need to always keep a Paypal Balance, otherwise, the fees will be token from your bank account (As a second payment method on your PP account), and they'll be in CAD$ as you are using Ebay Canada.

Hi

I am trying to find the article you wrote regarding this matter, but was refused access. Please help! Paypal.ca is making life complicated. They claim my USD account which is in Canada is invalid. After a 40min discussion and agrevation, I finally realized and make them come to their senses that the problem is that they are sending candian deposits to verify the account instead of american dollars. Then they tell me that it is impossible to send USD....like ...what the hell?
