Paypal debit card question
 

Lets say for instance my Paypal debit card is backup funded by my checking account. My paypal account balance is $0.00. If I make a purchase with the paypal debit card or use it to make an ATM withdrawal, what will happen?

If you make a purchase with a card I think the automatic withdrawal from checking kicks in.. Not sure you can take out cash though unless covered.

Because it is a debit card, there must be 'funds' somewhere to permit the transaction :ranger:

Using your Debit Card. You may use your Debit Card at any Maestro/Cirrus ATM. If given the option, select "Checking Account" when using an ATM. You may use your Debit Card to purchase goods and services from merchants that accept MasterCard, in an amount up to your available PayPal Account Balance, or the amounts available through your backup funding source subject to the Spending Limits below. You may also use your card to withdraw cash from your PayPal balance.

I can confirm that the paypal card will withdraw money from your linked bank account if your paypal account didn't have money in it.

Hey everyone. I have new paypal account in the middle of verifying by tomorrow i will be able to verify. but today i thought i could buy something on ebay using my unverified paypal, it is connected to VCC entropay and it didnt allow me, it said stated that they cannot accept the card?? what does that mean?
