bidPay problem with the new account?

I signed up with BidPay last week with a new Ebay (0 feedback) account.
after the auction finished, i sent the invoice for the buyer from my bidpay account for $430.the buyer paid for the item. i received an email from Bidpay saying payment pending. after 2 hours an another email said payment denied due to new account. anybody faced same problems before?
thanks

yeap bidpay sucks major balls then jackass's wont apporve any orders i would use google checkout if i was you there much much better.

Right, if you're a new eBay user BidPay won't trust any transactions you do until you start receiving feedback and what not. It's better to use another merchant account like google checkout.

Yup, just got my payment denied and declined. Forget Bidpay you guys, they won't even accept a 30$ order. I'll just use bidpay as a smoke screen and send them googlecheckout invoices after the auction close.

What I want to ask is, if someone has a legit ebay account and good feedback, why would anyone use bidpay? The slightly lower fees? Paypal is still way better then bidpay.

I'd use Authorize.net but they seem expensive for my needs.

What is the procedure for using GC? You can't list it as a payment method. Sure you can send them an invoice for GC but what if they use checkout with your listed BP or PP (that is required to sell as a "safe" method) before you have a chance to send them the GC invoice or if they don't see the invoice?

For one thing, we don't accept paypal at all. So for me, they attempted to pay via bidpay and it was denied after which I told them why and sent a googlecheckout invoice.

I think the approach I'll take is trying to use this site : Authorize.net Gateway and Free Merchant Account on Auctiva if I can. I'm going to call them up to see if they are compatible.

They are. I use them.

I'm working on my Merchant Plus account... Chris which Authorize.net affiliate do you recommend the most? I know you have Merchant Plus as well, how's that doing?

I just been set up with merchant plus...They use myfreecheckout.com has the cart but it was causing problems...When merchant plus representative realized it, she said I will switch you to a better cartmanager so the ended switching me to cartmanager...

I made a test and all and it works....

I've been trying to find this info using search but haven't been able to locate it.

When you sign up with merchant plus or Authrize.net. Do I have to sign up for a merchant account and Gateway? OR can I just pay for a gateway and use that with Auctiva? I'm kind of hesitant to send them my photo Id, along with a blank check and etc. Also for authorize.net whast the termination fee?

Edit: I guess this answered it.

Merchantplus is okay. you can send them your info... And authorize.net is the gateway. You need the gateway and a merchant account in order for it to work..
