is it the same thing when you close your bank account or just request for the account number to be changed?

Well your old bank account number will become invalid in both outcomes.. so I'm going to have to say yes..

Aspkin, please help me answer this, when my paypal account got limited, Paypal requested me to add a new credit card and other things etc. So the card i used belong to family member and everthing worked well, my account is restored. my ebay got suspended so i wont be able to use that verified paypal with any other ebay account now.... So my question is: I want to set up a new paypal account stealth ofcourse matching with a new ebay account. using a virtual credit card from entropay BUT use the bank account:sort code and account number for the credit card i used in my other paypal account for verification. will they will link in any way?

used the credit card to verify my original paypal acccount, now i want to use the account details sort code and account number to create new ebay/vvc from entropay. am i making sense? please help

You can not do that. That bank account is linked to the (old) paypal.
You need a new bank account. It can have the same sort code but it should have a different account number :peace:

oh yeah you right, i wasn;t thinking, because to verify the card, they also ask u the account number and sort code, just remembered now. thank you ;)
