Default Paypal Funds Transfer has Disappeared!!!

Ok, so I am getting a bit concerned about some funds I transfered from Paypal to my Chase bank account last week. I transfered the funds last Tuesday 3/2 and they still are not in my bank account. Both transfered said completed last week and it usually only takes 2 days to complete the transfer. It's like my funds just vanished!

Has anyone else ever experienced a longer than usual transfer time? Do I need to call Paypal or just wait it out. I am kind of reluctant to call Paypal b/c I do not want any special attention on my account. We all know how that goes!

Any feedback you guys have would be great!

Have you tried calling the bank?

I've never seen it take that long, but lets assume you did the withdrawal late on the 2nd, and it takes 4 business days to arrive, it would show up today.

Yea, I'm going to call the bank, but not sure if they can see the pending deposits or not. Hopefully it will be in there by tomorrow. It's just slowing me up, my return customers are asking for more product that I was supposed to have ordered last week to have by this week. <sigh>

Do do you do chase.com? I've had occasional deposits take a while, but with it being only 4 working days, I wouldn't lose sleep over it just yet.

paypal USA must have had glitches last week. Did a similar transfer to a BOA account on the West Coast which has not arrived. Another transfer in another area went through.

Overall last week, paypal held me up with 3 transactions.

Can you imagine the interest accrued in three days with all that money?

The money isn't in paypal so I don't see how they can be making interest on it. As soon as you submit the transfer that amount is instantly takin out of the account. IDK, maybe it is still in paypals hands but just doesnt show it as such.

Yeah, once it shows completed, I don't see how paypal would be making interest off it...

If it's not there by tomorrow morning, I would call paypal.

I had issued a ebay customer a refund last week for a item sold on ebay and the money they paid with came from there bank well after the refund she said there was a hold on it and now its not in her pp or bank its like its stuck in limbo and she called pp and they couldnt tell her where the money went. I bet its due to the same problem.

Well now Chase bank denied my transfer and put the funds back in paypal. This is the second time this has happened, not sure what I need to do now. I'm not going to add another Chase account b/c I'm sure it'll happen again. Maybe I'll try to add a BOA account.

dose your paypal name match your chase name? i know in the past my cuz's wife use my bank to deposit imcome taxs in and my bank refused the depoist because the depoist was in her name.

If this is the case it might be time to look for a new bank or use your real name on the pp's

I thought chase is a bank that does not require names to match.....

I just opened an account with them online and plan to use is. I've used boa for years, no issues.

Ive used Chase in the past and my back acct name and never matched the pp name, unless this is something new. I guess I'll be going back to BOA.

Refunds from the IRS are a different issue. This is a must, no way around this issue. Your name has to match to cash, deposit into someone else's account, or direct deposit the funds.

The only thing I changed was my automatic ebay fee payment method. I changed it from Paypal to a gift card I know it wont work but that was the point. Not sure if that has anything to do with my current situation but that is the only thing I changed.

Ah well, I paid my ebay fees and changed it back to paypal automatic fee payment so I'll add a bank another bank account and see what happens.
